The windows in Tallbo cabins have been uprated from 40mm air gap double glazing, to 15mm sealed unit double glazed windows fitted with 'LE' low energy glass and brass fittings and stay.

Floor made from 22mm pine tongue and groove boards with an MDF sub floor to allow for insulation beneath floor (insulation provided in insulation option pack). The entire cabin is raised off the ground on concrete posts to allow air to freely circulate under the cabin.

15 mm tongue and goove ceiling to allow for roof insulation (insulation provided in insulation option pack). Tongue and groove roof capable of supporting a load of 300kg/m² and waterproof mineral felt covering.

Optional Insulation Pack
The optional insulation pack contains everything necessary to help your cabin withstand a Swedish winter. It contains insulation to put behind the ceiling panels, insulation to go under the floor, and 120mm of mineral wool insulation for the walls together with a vapour barrier.It also includes pine panelling for the internal walls mounted on flexible studwork which allows the exterior logs to settle without causing gaps to appear inside.
There is an option of Gypsum plasterboard or MDF panelling instead of the interior pine cladding for those clients who do not want absolutely everything to be made out of wood.
The 58mm pine logs come from sustainable forests in the North of Sweden near the Arctic circle, so they are slow growing and close grained. They are kiln dried and supplied untreated. When completed the cabin should be treated with a quality wood stain/preservative. We recommend and supply Butinox and Optimal wood stains.
These are the smaller Tallbo cabins having a 4m log length. The model pictured is one of our most popular products the Tallbo 20.
When looking at the layout diagrams of the cabins, items shown in dotted lines are not supplied. Interior walls shown in dotted lines are only a suggested layout. Interior walls may be placed wherever the customer chooses. The material to build interior walls and the internal doors are included in the insulation pack option, or may be purchased from us separately.

In Northern Ireland the VAT situation is either 17% or 0%. Please read the Customs and Excise pages of the UK. Mobiles homes in Northern Ireland are exempt from VAT.
